The Exhibition

Thanks to its innovative concept herCAREER has received lots of political support. The innovative concept of the exhibition has been very popular among exhibitors and especially among the women.

The range of exhibits and dialogue formats make herCAREER unique. The event is based on the following topics:

•Attractive employers / recruitment agencies / employment websites / headhunters

•Offers on further education• Services for better compatibility between family,

elder care and work • Services for anyone interested in founding their own

business as well as for female entrepreneurs •Networks, associations, organizations, institutions,

ministries etc.

No other recruiting exhibition focuses on exchanging knowledge and networking to such an extent. Companies benefit from position-ing themselves not solely as employers but also as advocates who are supportive of women and their career management – especially within their companies.

Women visiting herCAREER are motivated, well educated, highly qualified and career-oriented from all fields. With roughly 4,500 visitors, the third herCAREER has been a huge success. herCAREER saw a 39% increase in visitors between 2016 and 2017.

Renowned personalities were part of the exhibitions accompanying program as well as the networking event. They participated actively in herCAREER as speakers, advocates and as table captains of the herCAREER@Night.

More and More woMen found Their own business

According to the National Agency for Women Start-ups, Activities and Services, companies led by women are sustainable and stay on the market long-term. More and more women in Germany choose entrepreneurship as a career. In 2013 there were 1.4 million female entrepreneurs. A majority of women work in liberal professions. E.g. Business consultant, doctors or computer scientists. Research done by the National Agency for Women Start-ups, Activities and Services proves that more highly qualified tend to start their own business.

herCAREER aims at being the go-to place in Germany for female founders and entrepreneurs to network with interesting personali-ties from the worlds of business, science and politics. The event wants the visitors to get in contact with role models and get to know offers and services for female founders and entrepreneurs.

TIP:Cooperations can get in touch with interesting female founders and get them excited about their innovation labs, incubators, accelerators and similar “programs”.

In its third year the exhibition will take place October 11, and 12, 2018. herCAREER@Night, the networking-event at night takes place with carefully selected table captains in the evening of October 11, 2018. The female visitors get to network with personalities from the worlds of business, science and politics. Among those are chair-men/chairwomen, members of supervisory boards, entrepreneurs, female founders, experts and business angles, but also executives of the HR department of companies, and executives working in media and politics.

Regardless of hierarchies, the participants of the networking event get to expand their network and receive invaluable advice for their own career management.
