CATHOLIC EDUCATION: “Educating the future generations of the faithful in our Schools and Parishes.” Shaping the next generation of the faithful through a Catholic education is an essential mission of the Diocese of Scranton. Last year, more than 6,000 elementary, middle and high school students benefitted from the academic programs and spiritual guidance offered by our Catholic Schools. Your generous gift to the 2014 Annual Appeal will help us to recruit and retain talented teachers, fund extracurricular programs, invest in advanced classroom technology and serve the diverse needs of our students. As you reflect on the many gifts God has bestowed upon you, it is our deepest hope that you will support the Appeal and join the faithful through the Diocese in “Transforming Lives Together.” Update on the Annual Diocesan Appeal at St. Brigid Parish. Your gifts support major ministries made possible by the Diocesan Annual Appeal.
