Officials in the News . . . Janis Engel is going to Romania to judge the Junior Grand Prix and Milan, Italy as a team leader.
Charlie Cyr is judging at the Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany. He will be an ISU official at Skate America in Ontario, California and Four Continents in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as Technical Controller at Skate Canada in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Doug Williams will be judging at Skate America and team leader for the Eric Bombard Trophy in Paris, France.
Stefanie Mathewson will be the team leader for the Junior Grand Prix in Innsbruck, Austria.

2011 Southern California Invitational FinalNew Event this Fall hosted by the
Southern California Inter-Club Association The Southern California Inter-Club Association has announced a new event starting for the 2011 skating season. At all open competitions hosted by Inter-Club member clubs through Sept 18, 2011, skaters will earn points based on their final placements. Scores from these events will qualify skaters for the Invitational Final competition on Sept 24 & 25, 2011. Competitions held after Sept 25 will accrue points for the 2012 series. Events included: singles events Pre-Preliminary through Senior, pairs Pre-Juvenile through Senior, Adult singles & pairs Bronze through Masters, and free dance Juvenile through Senior. Singles skaters will need to enter at least three events to qualify. Their top three scores will count. The top 12 point scorers in each division will be invited to the Invitational Final. Current standings will be posted on the Inter-Club website throughout the season so skaters will know where they rank. The final event will use IJS for all events, live scoring, a kiss & cry area and other features to make it a special event for all the competitors.

that they are available online on the U.S. Figure Skating website? You can access all sorts of information online at the USFS website. The website is located at www.usfigureskating.org Go to the “Members Only” link in the upper right hand corner of the home page and enter your membership number. You’ll be given a
password to sign in and can then fill out or update your member profile, see tests you have taken, the date taken, host club of the test session and the results. You can also see your event history and results (qualifying events only), register for qualifying events, access the official U.S. Figure Skating Directory, keep up with Governing Council actions, access the online store and much, much more.
