Bodas de Sangre centers around the struggle of Leonardo, a man who is married and has one child, but who is still in love with his ex-girlfriend. He is secretly riding out on his horse to where the "novia" lives. She is also still in love with him, but is attempting to put the past behind her and is getting married to another man. However, on the day of her wedding, she becomes more and more agitated, as she realizes what she is getting herself into with "el novio" and that she in fact does not love him nor wish to be married to him. She and Leornardo finally run away together, but the play ends in tragedy, with the death of both Leornardo and el novio, fighting for honor.

The conflict is internal, a raging battle within Leonardo and The Groom who after the sudden disappearance of his bride from a wedding goes to find her and becomes the victim of the love triangle.

This project took 2weeks in total. The whole project consists of reading the book, watching the film, dramatization of the play, shooting a short video.

Bodas de Sangre/Blood Wedding impressed us, we were delighted that we were able to take such a responsibility. From the moment we had seen the play it excited us and made us the heroes of the mission we completed.
