The Pacific’s Keystone Weapon System
Hello, greetings from USO Alaska! My name is Brett Banks, and I am the Executive Director for USO Alaska. I am in a unique position as a military retiree who spent time in two branches, the Navy and the Army, and I count my service as the most interesting, challenging, and rewarding experiences of my life (aside from raising four wonderful children). After retiring from military service here in Alaska, my family knew this was our forever home and we have been enjoying the great Alaskan outdoors ever since. Prior to my position with USO Alaska, I led the Child and Family Developmental Services clinic at Southcentral Foundation and was Vice President of Education Impact for United Way of Anchorage. My wife and I have been married over 25 years, and in addition to our four children we have one grandson.
What a privilege and honor it is to help connect our service members to family, home and country. I am proud that my career has brought me full circle back to my second family, the service members and family members of our United States military. I look forward to seeing you at the USO.
