In this unprecedented time, Depending onyour circumstances, you may have foundyourself balancing work, parenting, andeven schooling simultaneously during theday. This transition can be overwhelmingand stressful, but below are some tips tohelp alleviate some of those stressors.
Take advantage of FREE VIRTUALfield trips Stay connected with friends and lovedones: Plan zoom parties, Netflix watchparties, and encouragement calls. Take Breaks: Get some fresh air, go fora walk, take a nap, etc,: and allowyourself time to process and regroupwhen feeling overwhelmedPractice Self-Care: Self-Care doesn'thave to be a luxurious spa day or anextravagant shopping trip; it can be assimple as taking a shower and listeningto your favorite jams. CCS Fuel-Up Meal sites- Grab and Go meal siteswill be assigned by the nearest location to thestudent’s home address.
When: Every Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1p.m. & 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Any child 18 andunder can pick up a five-day meal pack.
CSCC Mid-Ohio Market- The Mid-Ohio Market atColumbus State (MOM@CState) is a resourcefor students and community members toaccess free, fresh, and shelf-stable food on aregular basis.

Topics include:Being a Parent Tuesday, October 27th from 10 – 11 AMHomework Wednesday, October 28th from 2 – 3 PM
Coping with Stress Thursday, October 29th from 6 – 7 PM
Small groups are FREE, VIRTUAL on Zoom, brief 1 hour sessions
and you can take as many as you like!
