Make your re servation at the Church Office. Church Members have the first option of seats on the bus. Any person under the age of 16 needs to have p arent or guardian travel with them or a designated adult responsible for them on the trip. Available to the public after noon on Thursday, November 7. I always look forward to the Fall Festival a t First Baptist Church. The excitement of the childre n and the adults coupled with the opportunity to reach out to the community as a whole makes the eve nt very special. I look forward to the music, food and ga mes. Yes, I like the Fall F estival and hope you will make your plans to be there. One aspect of the evening that is often overlooked is the manpower and hours tak en to set up for the e vent and the energy needed to take down and put away after the event. Again this year a group will be needed to move tab les and chairs in preparation for the afternoon activities. Anyone that could help with this is being asked to meet me about 2pm on the 30th and we will get the job done. If you can come for a little while, stay for the whole event; or stay afterward to help  put things away, it would be greatly appreciated. One credit card company advertises, “Membership has it’s privileges.” Well, that is true of church membership also. Along with those privile ges come responsibilities. Credit card companies demand their payment and that it be on time. Churches do not do that. WE have no “members hip fees”, or minimum payments, or due dates. WE rely on the faithfulness of the congregation to meet the needs of the church. WE rely on one another to be f aithful in and with their tithes and offerings. As we continue in this slump in our giving, may I remind each of us to be found faithful. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday. Packing a shoebox as a family is a great way to teach your kidsabout missions. Also, there are several ways to get involved atour church: 1) Have a Sunday School class packing party 2)AWANA is collecting items and kids earn extra AWANA bucksfor participating. We'll use all the items for a wacky packinggame.
