As hunting gets into ull swing...
While youth hunters got the rst crack at some bigbucks last Tursday and Friday, the general rie seasonor deer and elk gets underway this Saturday, October26th ands on Sunday, December 1st.
State law requires hunters to stop at all game checkstations while traveling to and rom hunting areas.Failure to stop at a checking station when personnel areon duty is a misdemeanor punishable by a ne.
Biological and law enorcement game checkstations may be set up together in the same place or inseparate locations. Tousands o hunters will provideuseul inormation during these annual game checks, contributing to the management o game animalpopulations and uture hunting opportunities.
Every hunting season some individuals unwittingly
or knowingly violate the states game laws. MontanaFish, Wildlie & Parks ocials urge hunters to reviewMontanas hunting rules and regulations to ensure theyact within the law and that they recognize when othersviolate the hunting regulations and related laws.
Here are some o the most common game violations: Failure to obtain permission from landowners before
hunting on private property. Wasting part of a game animal suitable for food. Failure to properly validate a license/tag or to securely
fasten the tag in a visible manner to a game animal
immediately after it is taken and before it is moved ortransported from the kill site.
Taking game from the wrong hunting district. Usingsomeoneelsestagonagameanimalyoukilled,or
tagging a game animal that someone else killed. Shooting game animals on or from any public highway or
public right-of-way. Taking game without a li cense or the proper permit. Failure to validate a big game tag. Not leaving evidence of the sex or species of the game
animal attached.
FWP encourages hunters to protect the utureo their sport by hunting responsibly and reportinghunting violations to the toll-ree 1-800-IP-MON(1-800-847-6668) number.

I Just Realized Something:
My dog sleeps about 15hours a day.
He has his food
prepared for him.His meals are provided
at no cost to him.He visits the Dr. once
a year for his checkup and
again during the year, if anymedical needs arise. For this he pays nothing,
and nothing is required ofhim.
He lives in a niceneighborhood in a housethat is much larger than heneeds, but he is not required
to do any upkeep. If he makes a mess,
someone else cleans it up.He has his choice ofluxurious places to sleep.
He receives theseaccommodations absolutelyfree.
He is living like a king
and has absolutely noexpenses whatsoever.
All of his costs arepicked up by others whoearn a living.
I was just thinking aboutall this, and suddenly it hitme like a ton of bricks ~
MY dog is aCONGRESSMAN!!!
