Signature Scholastic Book Fair

Saturday - Family Event (November 4th) New this year!!! The book fair will be open from 10 AM - 2 PM on Saturday, November 4th. Clifford will be here along with a chance to win a $20.00 Scholastic Book Fair Certificate to use at the fair. (The winner will be announced during Tuesday morning announcements.) Mrs. Broadway will also be here to say hello and help pass out some popcorn for everyone to enjoy.

Monday - Grandparents Day (November 4th)

Grandparents Day is Monday, November 4th. This is the time for the grandparents to come and take the grandkids to the Scholastic Book Fair. Grandparents are encouraged to come from 7:35-9:00 to have donuts/ juice and to go shopping, or come have lunch with their grandchild and go

shopping during their grandkids’ recess. There will be cookies and lemonade for grandparents to enjoy during that time.

Monday – Thursday

7:35-3:30 Grade levels will have designated time slots each day to come and go shopping.

Friday

The book fair will close at 12:00!

K-2nd Grade 8:00-10:00

3rd – 4th Grade 10:00-12:00

Nominations for Gifted and Talented Testing Nominations are now open for Conroe Independent School District Gifted and Talented program. Although the testing will not take place until Febru-ary, nominations are accepted at this time. Nominations can be made by the

parents and/or teachers. It is recommended that parents of 2nd grade students wait until CogAT scores have arrived before nominating their child because CogAT scores are part of the GT as-sessment. If you are interested in nominating your child, you may want to discuss this with your child’s teacher at conferences. Nominations will be accepted through December 18. You may request a nomination form from the front office or the Assistant Principal. You can also find the nomination form and other GT information on the CISD GT homepage.
