2) Read new story Jose: Born to Dance

3) Spelling is due Friday. No Halloween party for those who do not have the old ones done.

Culiacan, Mexico 3rd person I know that it is 3rd person

because there is no "I" telling the story. There are also names and a narrator.

I think the author uses some Spanish words because the setting is in Mexico where they speak Spanish. This makes the story seem more real.

Jose's reaction to being teased was that he was sad but then decided that he was going to learn English better than everyone. This shows me that Jose is very determined.
