Those of you with children might have had a chance to flee the Zurich fog while your children were on their school holidays. We hope that you are back well and rested. It was a year ago this November that we started and registered Marathon Sprachen Langenegger & O’Neill. The first three years of any startup are supposed to be the hardest. We’ve survived year one and despite all the hard work and long hours we’ve also managed to have some fun. We’d like to thank our partners, customers, friends and family for their kind support and enthusiasm and look forward to our continued collaborations in the future. We were busy this past month with work and training. We were invited to TEDxZurich and would like to congratulate the organizers on a brilliant event. As a result of our presence at the event we have made contact with developers for developing an iPad App. More information will follow in coming newsletters. On the topic of further education, we’ll be attending the Cambridge Day in Winterthur on November 6th. We’re happy to announce that besides our German -> English translations and English editing services we now offer French <-> English translation and Deutsch -> English translation and German proofreading. Our translators, like ourselves, do the translations “by hand” in order to guarantee not just grammatical accuracy, but also convey the correct meaning and feeling of a text. This is ideal for marketing texts and literature. These services are being provided by Robert Kasasian and Guido Schenkel. In cooperation with Limited Edition Wines we are holding our second Wine & Dine Event at Restaurant Heugümper in Zurich. It will feature a seven course seasonal menu with wines from Craggy Range. Craggy Range is known amongst wine experts as New Zealand’s leading winery. More Information . For those of you interested in art, Michelle Bird is offering studio tours in Winterthur.
