This is an exciting time to be part of theGillman Companies. In addition to theupcoming holiday season, we will move twoof our dealerships into brand new quarters.

As this is written, workmen are puttingfinishing touches on our Gillman Honda facilityin San Antonio. It will open in a matter of days.Completion of this project brings all GillmanHonda and Acura locations in line with the man-ufacturers’ latest image standards programs.Also, construction is well underway on theGillman Nissan dealership in Rosenberg, Texas.Operations from there are scheduled to begin inthe late spring or early summer of 2008.

These are important events in the historyof the Gillman Companies. Each new physicalplant is a practical demonstration of our orga-

nization’s determination to con-stantly improve our customerservice. The latest, best equip-ment and working conditionsgreatly enhance the abilities ofGillman personnel to meet andexceed their goals.

This e-mail is to tell you that I was very satisfied with Mr.Djibril Keita’s handling of my Mazda 3 purchase atGillman Mazda Rosenberg.

Mr. Keita was very helpful, convincing, and profes-sional. I purchased the car for my teenage son who isgoing to college. My son wanted a particular color for thecar which was hard to get and Mr. Keita went out of hisway to secure the car. For me, safety is important and Mr.

Keita convinced us that the Mazda 3 Touring with its sideairbags was the right choice. His knowledge of the optionsof the different models helped us make the proper deci-sion. Neither my son nor I like pushy salesmen; we like totake our time and think about the potential purchase. Wewent back to Gillman Mazda in Rosenberg several times.Each time, Mr. Keita was courteous and let us make ourdecision without pressuring us and I appreciated thatmore than anything else.

Since the purchase, Mr. Keita has contacted me sev-eral times by e-mail to ensure that we are happy with thecar and this makes me feel good about Gillman’s follow-up and service. Mr. Gillman: I bought a used car from your dealership acouple of years ago. The person who helped me then,Mark Odat, was at the time very helpful and great allaround. Since then I moved temporarily out of state, toCalifornia. However, your good customer service helpedme even all the way out here.

I recently lost my car keys and some of my carpapers. Before having my car towed and keys redone, Icalled several Mitsubishi dealerships in southernCalifornia for assistance but they didn’t provide any.Then I thought of calling your dealership for ideas onwhat to do. Mr. Odat expressed his willingness to seewhat information or copies he still had of my old transac-

tion, and connected me to the Service Department for fur-ther assistance. There I spoke to Kevin, who practicallysaved my life—as in saving me lots of money, hassle, andheadache. He told me how to get a regular key, use thesafety code in the glove compartment, and start my car. Iinquired about this with the local Mitsubishi dealerships,but all three of them said it couldn’t be done.Nevertheless, I looked for a flat metal key ($6), followedKevin’s instructions, and all went great. The best thing isthat two days later, I found my keys and was so thankfulthat I hadn’t gone through that whole thing.

Please thank Mr. Odat and Kevin for me. Kevinknew what no other dealership I talked to here knew, andhe even called me two or three different times to followup with me and make sure things were working out. Mr. Dupons: I wanted to provide you some positive feed-back on Gibson Ihe, Fleet Manager at Gillman Nissan.

My wife and I were in the market for a new car (forme) last month and were virtually committed to buyingour third Toyota. We did test drive the new Camry, but wewanted to make at least one comparison before commit-ting, so we visited Gillman Nissan to test drive the Altima.

Gibson was the first person we met at the dealer-

(continued from previous page) ship and he took care of us from start to finish, startingwith a sit-down chat to talk about our needs, an explana-tion of the main features of the Altima, a very enjoyabletest drive in which all the features previously talked aboutwere demonstrated, and finally another test drive in thePathfinder (a potential future purchase for my wife). Wefinished up with a brief no-pressure discussion aboutprice and financing and told him we’d be back in touchas we wanted to think about it over the weekend.

After our visit to Gillman Nissan, we didn’t feelthe need to test drive any other vehicles. We’d found whatwe wanted. I called Gibson back, worked out the dealover the phone, and picked up the car two days later.Gibson did a fantastic job getting me the car I wanted(right color, right options) at the price I wanted, and withthe financing I wanted.

Gillman Subaru in Southwest HoustonHolds Great New-Owner Open House

New Subaru owners were invited to meet withGillman Subaru service and parts personnel todiscuss technical information, warranties, andmaintenance recommendations. The turnoutwas spectacular and Subaru owners spent anengaging evening touring the shop facilities andfinding out what the underside of their Subarulooks like. As a climax to a fun event, GillmanSubaru gave away a flat screen television set.

The Gillman Finance Teamwork contest,which improved finance activities throughbuilding greater cooperation and teamwork,was a huge success. Twenty winners and sup-port personnel went to the famous RedfishLodge in Rockport, Texas. An additional 15 topperformers stayed at L’Auberge Du Lac Hoteland Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Fishing, golfing, or playing at the tables,everyone enjoyed a memorable time.

With a year-to-date 97.2 on the CSI scale,Gillman Acura in Houston continues to be anational leader in customer satisfaction.Directed by General Manager Randy Khalaf,Service Manager Tony Webb, and PartsManager Johnnie Cantu, this phenomenalteam of service advisors, technicians, cashiers,and shop support personnel have climbed to

Gillman Honda in San Antonio joined with theSchertz, Texas Emergency Service and PoliceDepartment to host a free child safety seatinspection. Attendees, in addition to receivinga no-cost examinationof their child safety seatinstallations, learnedsix points vital for childsafety in a motor vehi-cle. This uniquecommunity serviceevent drew a number ofparents who expressedappreciation for theinspections.

So who has the hottest tickets in town?It’s gotta be Gillman Honda in San Antonio,where they are being used to bring prospectsand customers into the dealership. With thesoon-to-be-opened new Honda facility as abackground, Radio Disney provided entertain-ment, and the tickets delivered on excitement!

Another ticket giveaway will be held atthe Gillman Acura and Gillman Mitsubishidealerships in North Houston, to coincide withthe Hannah Montana concert in November!

Gillman Honda San Antonio Hosts Free ChildSafety Seat Inspections!

In a highly successful effort to build supportfor the United Way fund drive, the GillmanCompanies conducted a special program toencourage personnel to donate $50 or more tothis great cause. Some spectacular prizes,including a pair of round-trip tickets to anySouthwest Airlines destination, Apple iPods,golf passes, and American Express gift cards,were given to winners of a drawing.

Gillman CompaniesDonate Electric Carts toCarolina Christian CampThe Gillman Companies learned that theCarolina Christian Camp had need for electriccarts to transport personnel and equipment attheir campgrounds located between Huntsvilleand Trinity, Texas. So the Gillman Companiesdonated four of the desired vehicles to the camp.

The Carolina Christian Camp is a year-around operation with hundreds of campersusing the facilities weekly for retreats and recre-ation. In the summer, the camp serves morethan 45,000 young campers in various programs.
