External Rotor Motor FansExternal rotor motor driven fans are manufactured by Ecofit France, a Rosenberg Group Company. Ecofit produce a comprehensive range of axial and centrifugal fans, principally for equipment manufacturers who require products that are:- Inexpensive- Dimensionally compact- Energy efficient- Suitable for simple speed control

Axair Fans’ relationship with Ecofit has been in existence for over 31 years and continues to grow year upon year.

Axair Fans is the UK distributor of Ecofit products, many of which are assembled by Axair to client specifications using stock components. For example:

Main Features & Options

Ecofit also offers EC fans. EC stands for ‘Electronically Commutated’, and it combines AC and DC voltages bringing the best of both technologies: the motor runs on a DC voltage, but with a normal AC supply.

The EC motor incorporates voltage transformation within the motor. The non-rotating part of the motor (stator) is extended to make room for an electronic PCB board which includes power transformation AC to DC, as well as the controls.All the features of the external rotor motor are kept including compact assembly, easy speed controllability and efficiency and characteristics.

Frame axial fans are available with industry standard frame dimensions and in many electrical and mechanical configurations.For example :
