$350,000 This multi-phase project was a 1-mile long multi-use trail in the heart of Prescott Valley. The project scope consisted of design and construction of a 10’ wide hard surface trail to ADA standards, landscape, irrigation, granite surface treatments and rest area features with site furnishings at 4 sites along the along trail. CDG was a subconsultant on this project. This project scope closely relates to the anticipated scope for trail systems in the State of Arizona On-call.

Fountain Plaza (Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue Greenspace), Mesa, Arizona

$600,000 CDG completed landscape design services for a pedestrian friendly greenspace and ‘pocket park’ in a dense urban setting. CDG’s scope was to refine the design concept prepared by the City of Mesa and develop construction documents within a short schedule and tight budget.

City of Phoenix, 3rd Street and Van Buren Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Study, Phoenix, Arizona

CDG prepared Landscape and Aesthetics Plans (conceptual - 30%) and cost estimates for 2-miles of pedestrian and bicycle facilities improvements on 3rd Street (Garfield to Indian School Rd) and Van Buren St (7th St to 24th St) in Central Phoenix. CDG studied streetscape retrofit improvement alternatives and prepared an analysis of existing conditions, opportunities, constraints for proposed street cross section alternatives. The scope of this project closely relates to the anticipated scope for pedestrian and bicycle facilities studies for the State of Arizona On-call.

CDG was responsible for all project management, budgeting, design administration, quality control and stakeholder coordination. Scope included a visual prioritization analysis to optimize planting design and cost, and design of multiple irrigation system components to service all portions of the project. The scope of this project closely relates to the anticipated scope for suburban / urban freeways for the State of Arizona On-call.

All materials submitted as part of a response to a solicitation are subject to Arizona public records law and will be disclosed if there is an appropriate public records request at the time of or after the award of the contract. Chandler Veterans Oasis Park and Recharge Facility, Chandler Role on the Project: Landscape Designer

Park features included a fishing lake, wetlands streams, recharge basins and over 2-miles of AASHTO paths and 4.5 miles of trails that connect to regional facilities and occur within utility / maintenance corridors within the park. Additionally, there are numerous plazas, passive recreation areas, equestrian facilities, streetscape, an education and administration center, and multi-purpose ceremonial space, and interactive playground/education areas. Jenni served as the prepared detailed landscape design and production of construction documents.

This much needed improvement project included landscape and irrigation retrofit with extensive bridge aesthetics to transform the overpass into a gateway for the community. Jenni was responsible for preparing landscape and aesthetics detailing and plans, landscape/irrigation demo plans, and retaining wall and bridge structure aesthetic design/coordination.
