CITY PROJECTS
The El Monte Gateway project will be a model for transit-oriented-
development in the region, providing a first-phase of 484 residential units (132
of them are affordable housing) and 25,000 square feet of retail space. This
site is placed immediately adjacent to the El Monte Transit Station, which is
the newest and largest regional transit hub in the MTA network, and creates
