From an early age, Lorraine “Punch”
Benjamin-Baldwin was inspired by the
Holy Ghost to minister through song.
Later in life, God revealed to her a higher
calling in spreading the Gospel through the
spoken Word of God. This led her to
saturate herself in the Word of God
through a deeper Bible study and an
expanded prayer life.
Surrendering unto God, she told the Lord that I will follow where you lead
me. And that she did, when the call of God also led her to give up her
secular employment trusting His endless provisions.
Punch is an ordained Minister in the Church of God by Faith, where Rev.
Phillip Thomas is Pastor, and Bishop J. E. McKnight is Presiding Bishop.
She began full- time ministry in 1994, conducting revivals across the land.
She is the widow of the late Evangelist Sam Baldwin and has served as the
Praise and Worship Leader for the National Convention of the Church of
God by Faith, Inc.
