• Demonstrates the importance of military‐affiliated students

• Provides support for the improvement of educational opportunities for veterans, uniformed service members and their families within North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

National Military Family Association• Official MOU signed by Chancellor and NMFA Executive Director• $7,000.00 in scholarships offered through partnership

• $1,000.00 specifically for Military Spouses gifted by the UNCW Student Veteran Organization

• Serves to incentivize military spouses to enroll in UNCW programs. Encourages service members to enroll, as well.

• National PR campaign to highlight partnership through UNCW & NMFA• (3) Live Facebook Q & A sessions regarding UNCW’s programs:

interactive sessions to help military spouses overcome the unique career challenges 

they face.

Military Spouse Employment Advisory Council • The Military Spouse Employment Advisory Council (MSEAC) is one of the first private 

sector‐led councils formed specifically to address military spouse unemployment. • The MSEAC concentrates on connecting spouses to national and local employers of 

every size and industry.• This select group of companies – with proven track records and innovative spouse 

recruitment initiatives of their own – focuses not on words but on actions that address the unique employment challenges that military spouses

Join us for a free hiring fair and transition summit for Service Members, Veterans, and military spouses. This event features key federal & state agencies, influential military leaders, innovators in the business and employer community, and local community leaders. The three-day Transition Summit will feature informative and interactive panel events, recruiter training, and facilitated discussions focused on improving competitive employment for Service Members, Veterans, and spouses in addition to a networking reception for employers, senior leaders, and job seekers.

Bridges the civilian‐military divide by ensuring that every American has the tools and resources needed to engage effectively with service members and veterans.

Only national institute of its kind, dedicated to bridging the civilian‐military divide through free online education and a support center staffed with mental health experts.

PsychArmor recruits nationally recognized subject matter experts to create and deliver online courses about issues relevant to the military and veteran communities. 

Self‐paced courses are delivered within six schools geared toward military culture, healthcare providers, employers, educators, volunteers, caregivers and families. 

Provides critical resources to all Americans who work with, live with, and care about veterans.

The target audience for Exercise Science and Supply Chain Management will be active duty Marines, but both programs will also be open to spouses and veterans as well as DoD civilian employees and civilian residents of Onslow and surrounding counties.
