RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR CLERKS
Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up
of the post of JUNIOR CLERCKS for the District and Sub-ordinate Offices of Jagatsinghpur
District under Revenue Administration on regular basis in the pay band PB-I - RS.5,200-
20,2001- along with Grade Pay RS.19001-per month. The application should reach to the
undersigned on or before 08.08.2013 by Speed Post 1 Registered Post only. The successful
candidates should produce their required documents in original at the time of the
appointment. Incomplete 1 defective or applications received after due date shall not be
\ taken into consideration and liable for rejection. The date and place of examination will be
intimated to the eligible candidates whose applications are found to be in order or complete
in all respects through internet and postal correspondences. Inclusion in the merit list confers
no right to appointment. The allotment of the selected candidates for regular vacancies will
be determined basing on category wise merit position in the selected list.

3. Eligibilty Criteria
Eligibility of the candidats to apply for the post:
a) Be a citizen of India
b) He or she must be a permanent resident of Jagatsinghpur District. The resident
certificate issued by competent authority valid withiA,6 months.
c) Have registered his/her name in any Employment Exchange of Jagatsinghpur District
on or before the date of submission of application.
d) Have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination.
e) Not be less than 18 (eighteen) years and not more than 32 (thirthy two) years of age
as on 01.01.2013. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in cases of
SC/ST/SEBC and Women and Ex-Serviceman and 10 years in respect of Physical
Handicapped candidates.

f) Be of good character.
g) Be of sound health, good physique and active habits.
h) No person who has more than one spouse living shall be eligible for appearing in the
examination.
i) Be able to speak, read & write ODIA and has
(i) Passed the M.E. School Examination with ODIA as language subject or
(ii) Passed the matriculation or equivalent Exam. with ODIA as the medium of
Exam. In non-language subjects, or
(iii) Passed in ODIA as language subject in the final examination of class-VII or
above,or
(iv) Passed a test in ODIA in M.E. School standard conducted by the Education
Department.

1. Two copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer.
2. Two self-addrssed envelopes of 23 cms. X 10 cms. with postage stamp of RS.25/-
affixed on it.
3. Attested copy of Certificate of High School Certificate Examination or Equivalent
Examination.
4. Attested copy of Mark Sheet of High School Certificate Examination or Equivalent
Examination.
5. Two Character Certificates in Original from any two Gazetted Officers not related to
the Candidates.
6. Attested copy of the Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Revenue Authority.
7. Attested copy of the (recent within six months) Residential Cedrtificate issued by the
Competent Revenue Authority.
8. Attested copy of Valid Employment Registration Certificate.
9. Declaration regarding on!l spouse living if married.
10. Original Bank Draft of Examination Fees (if not exempted).
11. In case Physically Handicapped candidate Disability certificarte of 40% & above.
Note: '.a) The authority reserves the right to reject any application and modity / cancel the
advertisement / examination without assigning any reason thereof.
b) No TAiDA will be allowed to attend the recruitment test.

Examination Fees: Candidates other than ST I SC are requried to deposit Rs. 1001-
(Rupees One hundred) only in shape of Bank Draft from any Natinalized Bank in favour of\
Dy. Collector, Nizarat, Collectorate, Jagatsinghpur payble at Jagatsinghpur (which is not
refundable).
