3. Click on Register Now. Register yourself using Name, Date of Birth, E-mail & Mobile no.
4. Note down Registration no. & Password for future reference.

❖ Eligibility Criteria
1. Eligibility criteria for admission in B.A./B.Sc (Hons.)
Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education
or any other equivalent board/council (List of the board/councils are listed below) in the year (2016/2017/2018) are
eligible to apply for Honours course in 1. Bengali, 2. English, 3. Sociology 4. Anthropology, 5. Geology, 6. Zoology
provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five)/ 4(Four) (where applicable) recognized subjects including at
least one language subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in subjects or related subjects in the
qualifying examination.

Merit Point = X+Y for Honours Course applicants
• X = 10 percent of marks in aggregate in the 10+2 level exam counting the total marks of the Best of Five
Subjects among the subjects studied excluding the marks of environmental studies / science.
• Y= marks obtained in the applied subject as Hons, If that subject is not studied, consider the marks of
one subject as indicated in the table:
