OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS (IMPORT) AIR CARGO COMPLEX, SAHAR, ANDHERI (EAST), MUMBAI-400 099. F.No.S/3-Prev-Admn-28/2004 ACC Date: 29 .08.2012 PUBLIC NOTICE 25/2012 Whereas, MIs. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd., having their registered office at Shreeji House, Sector 19/C, Plot No. 107, Vashi, Navi Mumbai - 400 705, were earlier granted permission vide Public Notice 17/2009 dated 16.07.2009, and addendums dated 14.10.2009, 17.08.2010, 13.09.2010, 02.09.2011 and 14.09.2011, to operate bonded trucking of import transshipment cargo valid up to 31.05.2012. Permission was accorded to transship imported cargo carried by 38 airlines, handled by the custodian Mis Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. from Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to outlying Air Cargo Complexes and Inland Container Depots. Permission was also accorded to transship cargo carried by flights operated and handled by Mis Air India which was limited for transshipment of imported cargo from Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to Air Cargo Complex, Kolkata, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi only. Mis. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd., had executed a Bond for RS.20.00 Crores (Rs. Twenty Crores Only). 2. Whereas, Mis. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd., vide their letter dated. 24.04.2012, applied for renewal of the said permission for a further period of 3 years. MIs. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd., have executed a Bond for RS.22.00 Crores (Rs. Twenty Two Crores Only), and requested exemption from submission of Bank Guarantee in terms of Board's Circular No. 24/06, dated 25.08.06. Mis. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd., have been granted exemption from producing Bank Guarantee in terms of Board's Circular No. 24/06, dated 25.08.06, as they have fulfilled the condition of having annual transshipment volume above 2500 MT. 3. Whereas, the permission for bonded trucking was valid up to 31.05.2012, the same was extended for three months, i.e. up to 31.08.2012 and renewal of permission kept pending subject to feedback about the quality of service provided to the Users I Airlines I Custodians. Now, custodiansMls Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd., Mis. Air Indiaand 21 major Airlines have submitted their positive feedback about the quality of service by Mis. Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd. 4. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 45(1) of the Customs Act, I, RavinderSaroop, Commissioner of Customs (Import), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai, hereby approve Mis Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd, as custodian of cargo imported at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai for the'( limited purpose to transship imported cargo carried by 21 airlines as detailed in Annexure A, handled by the custodian Mis Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. from Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to outlying Air Cargo Complexes and Inland Container Depots. In case of flights operated and handled by Mis Air India the permission is limited to transshipment of imported cargo to Air Cargo Complex, Kolkata, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi only. The transshipment is permitted only in such cases where it is desired by the consignee and authorized by the above Airlines with the approval of Customs Department. 5. Transshipment of import cargo approved as per this Public Notice will be governed by- (a) The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962; (b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations 1995; (c) Board's Circular No.69/99-Cus dated 06-10-1999 as amended by Board's Circular Nos.61/2000-Cus dated 13-07-2000 and 79/2001-Cus dated 07-12-2001 and 06/2007 -Cus dated 02-3-2007; (d) Public Notice NO.24/2000 dated 08-11-2000 read with Public Notice No. 12/2004 dated 27-03-2004 & Public Notice No. 18/2005 dated 28-07-2005; (e) Other Rules, Notifications, Regulations and instructions issued from time to time; and (f) Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 (as amended). Accordingly, in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 45(1) of the CustomsAct, I, RavinderSaroop, Commissioner of Customs (Import), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai,hereby approve Mis Shreeji Transport Services (P) Ltd, as custodian of cargo imported at AirCargo Complex, Mumbai for the'( limited purpose to transship imported cargo carried by 21airlines as detailed in Annexure A, handled by the custodian Mis Mumbai International AirportPvt. Ltd. from Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai to outlying Air Cargo Complexes and InlandContainer Depots. In case of flights operated and handled by Mis Air India the permission islimited to transshipment of imported cargo to Air Cargo Complex, Kolkata, Bangalore,Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi only. The transshipment is permitted only in suchcases where it is desired by the consignee and authorized by the above Airlines with theapproval of Customs Department.

5. Transshipment of import cargo approved as per this Public Notice will be governed by-

(a) The provisions of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962;(b) Goods Imported (Conditions of Transshipment) Regulations 1995;(c) Board's Circular No.69/99-Cus dated 06-10-1999 as amended by Board's

Circular Nos.61/2000-Cus dated 13-07-2000 and 79/2001-Cus dated 07-12-2001and 06/2007 -Cus dated 02-3-2007;

(d) Public Notice NO.24/2000 dated 08-11-2000 read with Public Notice No. 12/2004dated 27-03-2004 & Public Notice No. 18/2005 dated 28-07-2005;

(e) Other Rules, Notifications, Regulations and instructions issued from time to time;and

(f) Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 (as amended).

This authorization shall remain valid till 31-05-2015.5.
