A trip my family likes to take is packing all five of us into my wife’s

Escalade and heading to the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

We travel from Windham into North Conway and onto the Kancamangus

Highway along the beautiful bends of the rivers and lakes. We like

grabbing a bite in Lincoln at one of the great restaurants in the

Loon Mountain area. Headed home, we always stop to catch views

of Mount Washington. On our way back, we may even stop at the

Bridgton diner to sneak a slice of pie and ice cream.
