The big day has come, our wait’s at its end,

And we’re so happy that all of you could attend.

We’ll start off getting your heads a-turning

With vivid displays of our students’ learning.

Upstairs and downstairs, as you will see,

You’ll hear from our world-class faculty.

Then to the Auditorium when the clock strikes eight,

For the evening’s Big Show, which you know will be great.

And off to the tent to round out the night,

With music and dancing, we’ll be doing alright.

To serve as your guide, there’s a trustworthy map,

Just on the other side of this flap.

Thanks so much for coming and for Setting the Stage,

To get yourself started, just turn the page!

My House Leonard Bernstein from Peter Pan Arr. Jack Gottlieb

Build my house of wood, Build my house of stone, Build my house of brick and mortar. Make the ceiling strong, Strong against the storm, Shelter when the days grow shorter. But build my house of love, and paint my house with trusting, and warm it with the warmth of your heart. Make the floor of faith, Make the walls of truth, Put a roof of peace above, Only build my house of love.

Morning Glow Stephen Schwartz from Pippin Arr. Eric Van Cleave Jack Barrett ’18, soloist

Morning glow, morning glow, starts to glimmer when you know. Winds of change are set to blow and sweep this whole land through. Morning glow is long past due. Morning glow, fill the earth, come and shine for all your worth. We’ll be present at the birth of old faith looking new. Morning glow is long past due. Oh, morning glow, I’d like to help you grow. We should have started long ago. So, morning glow, all day long, while we sing tomorrow’s song. Never knew we could be so strong, but now it’s very clear. Morning glow is almost here. Morning glow, by your light, we can make the new day bright; and the phantoms of the night will fade into the past. Morning glow is here at last.
