He specialises in the preparation, negotiation and settlement of construction claims, as well as dispute mitigation and avoidance. Mr Nelson has acted in arbitrations relating to construction, civil engineering and process engineering disputes and acted as Claim Team Manager in major disputes. Mr. Nelson earned a BSc in QS and a Master of Laws in construction law and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration . Mas Ayu Mahmood Hill International Malaysia Director Ms Mas Ayu Mahmood has over 15 years of experience in construction contracts covering civil/building works, monorail/LRT, power plants and gas plants. She has also been involved in planning and scheduling and was responsible for extension of time assessments. She has commendable experience in the assessment and preparation of extension of time and loss and expense claims. Ms Mahmood has also practised risk management that included preventive risk management requiring the ability to appreciate the adverse issues at an early stage in a project. Ms Mahmood holds Bachelor of Law and MSc in Integrated Construction Project Management. Simon Silbernagl Hill International Singapore Senior Consultant Mr. Simon Silbernagl has more than 16 years experience in major commercial construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Europe and Asia. He specialises in the preparation and defense of delay and disruption claims for employers and contractors. He has been appointed as a party expert in the fields of both delay and disruption for building and civil engineering projects that were concluded via arbitration proceedings. He also provides expert technical advice on project management and project controls. Mr. Silbernagl holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction, a Post Graduate Diploma in law and a Master of Science in Construction Law.
