Meet Our Expert Michael D. Holloway

Michael D. Holloway is Manager of Strategic

Accounts & External Training for ALS. Michael

has worked in industry for 30 years in research

and development, technical marketing,

equipment reliability and sales. He has

written books on spend analysis, specification

development, failure interpretation as well as

process plant equipment operations, control,

and reliability, the Dictionary of Industrial

Terms and recently a bestseller on Hydraulic

Fracturing. He holds a BS in chemistry, a BA in

philosophy and a MS in engineering. Holloway

is a Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS), Oil

Monitoring Analyst (OMA I) through STLE, a

Level I Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT

I) and a Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA I)

through ICML as well as an elected member of

the Russian Academy of Natural Science.

Candidates must have at least two years education (post-secondary) or on-the-job training in one or more of the following fields: machine lubrication, engineering, mechanical maintenance and/or maintenance trades in order to take the MLT I & II or MLA I & II exam. Attendees taking this workshop will be prepared to take the MLT or MLA, offered by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML).

Preparations for Machinery Lubricant Technician Machine Lubricant Technician I & II Certification For personal responsible for daily lubrica-tion tasks, lubricant receiving and proper storage. The Level II; for those responsible for managing the lube team, selecting lubricants, troubleshooting abnormal lubri-cant performance and supporting machine design activities.
