●Feature a stable sliding surface which is extremely resistant to wear.
Structure and Lubrication Function
Porous space
Back-steel
OILES #2000: Solid Lubricant Dispersion Type Sintered Layered Bearing A special sintered lubrication-free multilayer bearing made by bonding a special composite with superior sliding performance and a steel back-plate under high-temperature, high-pressure conditions. With great wear resistance and multiple layers, this item feature both high strength and high toughness. The sintered body (sliding surface) is composed of three material: (A) a hard structure, (B) a comparatively soft structure and (C) solid lubricant graphite. The solid lubricant is finely dispersed and the lubricant is impregnated within the pours space. Alongside the sliding, the internal solid body lubricant and contained lubricant oil are supplied to the entirety of the sliding surface. Furthermore, as the bonding power between metals of the sintered body is strong, the galling phenomenon becomes more difficult to occur. Even under high pressure, this item is extremely stable in terms of its wear resistance. Its residue-burying performance is also superior. Although linear marks during residue-removing processes are left, the galling phenomenon does not occur and there is no resulting damage to the mating material even if foreign objects are found at the site of the sliding surface.
OILES BEARING / Features and Performance
When using this item in medium load areas, cutting down on the usage surface area (size and amount etc.) makes cost reduction possible.
* Low-profile hexagon socket head cap screws (LHS) are included with CWX and CWXT. (Screws are also sold separately.)
●As the solid lubricant is dispersed, this item can be used in any direction of operation; allowing for superior performance even during minute movement applications.
●Although the product is self-lubricating, we ask that the user perform initial lubrication.
●This feature superior load bearing capability, velocity properties and wear resistance.
●Due to the superior lubrication properties and wear resistance #2000 can be used with no trouble at all in high load areas.
● In comparison with the OILES #500F and OILES #500SP, it has twice the wear resistance and twice the galling resistance, which allows the surface area to be cut in half.
●By using against itself on the mating surface #2000, the occurrence of galling becomes less frequent under very high pressure conditions. This also means superior wear resistance performance.
●There are 6 types to choose from: 20mm thickness (CWP, CWPT), 10mm thickness (CWX, CWXT, and CWA) and 5mm thickness (CWT).
●CWI series plates are available in standard machined stock sizes. It can also be processed according to the required dimensions for use.

The advantages of using OILES #2000 Wear Plate
Machining can be performed without worrying about the location of solid lubricant.<Other examples of #2000 Type Machining>
When compared to the solid lubricant embedded-type, the OILES #2000 is a superior component in terms of wear resistance and resistance to galling. Because the lubricant is dispersed throughout the entirety of the sliding surface, the OILES #2000 is very useful even for minute sliding distance in which the formation of a lubricant coat is difficult. Furthermore, there is no embedded solid lubricant of a cylindrical shape, which allows machining of plate length, width and even holes locations.
●Workability in Comparison with the Solid Lubricant Embedded-Type
Machining is possible for user-chosenpositions!
We do not recommend this type asrunning of solid lubricant may occur!
<#2000 Type> <Solid Lubricant Embedded-Type>
*In this case, additional machining is performed on thecustomer-end with our standard plates.
■Points to note when cutting / machining
・ With respect to the back steel face, width, length and hole-opening machining, as a basic rule, please perform in accordance with the machining conditions for steel.・ Do not perform machining on the sliding sintered face.・ Although the sliding face can be fixated with a magnet vice, please use this product in
combination with a fixating jig such as a vice as adhering ability is lower in comparison to steel.・ The machining conditions below are one example.

In cases where Oiles #2000 plate has been machined after purchasing, oil impregnation must be carried out before installation. Also, if it has been stored for long periods of time or has been washed, ensure that it is installed after the re-administering of oil impregnation. As shown in the diagram on the right, in a case full of lubricant oil, immerse the finished product and heat steadily at between 100 and 110 degrees Celsius for between 30 to 60 minutes until gas bubbles cease to form. Retain it there and remove it after it falls to room temperature. When oil impregnation (heat treatment) cannot be performed, put it in lubricant oil after processing for at least 24 hours and then remove it.

The sliding direction is all directions. This is an OILES Plate used in machining such as the opening of holes and cutting in accordancewith required dimensions. When modifying the thickness, please perform machining on the back steel (SS400) side, not the sintered side. (See P. 9)
If machining has taken place, please use only after performing oil impregnation referring to the Oil Impregnation Method on page 10.Please See P.10 for information about attachment screws.
Ensure that no marks are left on the sintered layer when performing additional machining. Also, perform chamfering of the corners so that the outer circumference of the plate and the corner bored of the counter holes contain no sharp edges or burrs.
Perform additional machining after confirming the steel (SS400) side. (The sintered layered side is the sliding face. There is a sticker on the back-side which, differentiates each side.)

Oiles bearings are plain bearings that reduce the lubrication quantity and frequency or that can be used without the need for lubrication. The bearings are widely used in cars; AV instruments; office automation equipment; information communication equipment and various other industrial machines; civil engineering structures and dams used for long periods without maintenance; and in space and marine development industries requiring high performance under severe conditions.
These Multi-layer bearings are self-lubricating bearings composed of resin and metal. As thin as 0.5 mm, allowing for a compact design. ・ Serviceable without the need for lubrication and demonstrates low coefficient of friction and superior load performance.・ OILES Compact Bearings are completely : Lead-free.

OILES Bearings are not simply bearings; they are a technology that addres-ses friction, wear and lubrication (tribology). We have been working on the development of new products that apply such technology. OILES products can be found being put to use in many areas, including in areas such as with Linear Reciprocating Units used for industrial machinery. The scope of usage keeps on growing.
OILES standard press die compo-nents are a product-line born out of a coming together of a variety of ideas that deal with the problems and requirements encountered by customers, along with our tribology technology cultivated over many years. We hope to develop many more products going forward that meet the needs of our customers.
