What You Need to Know for 2022
You must login to your PeopleSoft account and makeelections by Friday, November 19, 2021, at 5pm
2021benefityearendsDecember31,andnewelections begin January 1, 2022Please review your elections in PeopleSoft. If you are not making changes to
coverage, you do not need to re-enroll, your coverage will automatically continue with the exceptions of FSA and STDi.
Flex Spending accounts require you to enroll every year
PLEASE NOTE: Because Salt Lake County is changing our Short Term Disability vendor all 2021 STDi ENROLLMENTS WILL NOT CARRY OVER INTO 2022
Even if you don’t want to make a contribution out of your paycheck, you must have an HSA to
receive the county contribution every year. Only “waive” the HSA if you are ineligible to make contributions due to other coverage. Election amounts can be changed throughout the year.

• Salt Lake County is very pleased to announce that there will no premium increases for 2022
• Salt Lake County Health Plans are self-funded. Thank you for engaging in the cost of your own
health and dental care.
Health Savings Account Contributions
• Employee's must have an active 2022 Health Savings Account (HSA) in order to receive thecounty contributions
• $600 for employee-only coverage
• $1,200 for family coverage
• HSA Wellness Incentive
• Earn up to an additional $275 for single coverage or $550 with spouse/adult designeeparticipation.
• You must participate in Healthy Lifestyles to receive cash contributions to your HSA.

or change your 2022 coverage without a qualifying life event.
