OLD-SCHOOL COMICS ISSUE 2MOONWAR!
This one is a damning piece of evidence, but it still gets me excited to read. It’s basically a culmination of the awesome Vietnam war comics I had been reading in grades eight and nine (“The ‘Nam”, drawn by Michael Golden) and the mili-tary sci-fi books I’d been reading since... well, ever since I could handle novel-length books (see “west of Honor” and “Birth of Fire” by Jerry Pournelle). It’s as close as I could get to copying both of them without actually doing fanfic for either. As such, this comic is dry, long-winded, and goes no-where... but I wish I had finished it back when I was fifteen.
