The Old Town Plain is the largest fertile land plain in all Adriatic islands. It is about 6 km long and 2 km wide.

Architectural heritage of the Old Town Plain:

In 1993 it became a protected archeological zone.

In 2008 it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
