Ever wondered why Süd-Chemie offered so many different C- G- and T-catalysts? Too confusing? Too difficult to remember? Well, we’ve decided to fix that! To streamline our well-recognized Olefin Purification Catalyst product portfolio, as well as introduce our next-generation of high-tech catalysts to the market, we are identifying our products with unique names. Süd-Chemie Catalysts and Adsorbents that are used in Ethylene plants, will now be known by a family name followed by a 3-digit number, based on the applications the catalysts are used in as described below (refer to table on back): • OleMax Series – High performance catalysts used to Maximize the production of Olefins (e.g. Ethylene, Propylene). Catalysts such as G-83A, G-83C, G-58C, G-58D, etc. and our next-generation products. • PolyMax Series – Used to produce ultra-high purity Ethylene and Propylene monomer. Catalysts such as T-4427B, G-66B, G-58B, C31-3 etc. • ActiSorb Series – Broad-spectrum adsorbents for contaminant removal from various process streams. Adsorbents such as G-72D, G-132D, T-2550, T-2552A etc. We want to help our valued customers ease into the transition with the new names. Therefore, for a short period of time, the old and the new catalyst names will appear together on all our product literature, packaging and safety documentation.
