The Olive Tree Community Superbowl, Pimp My Life, Jews for Jesus, and Much More… FEBRUARY’S UPDATE: January was totally AWESOME! We started a new series called Pimp My Life, where we looked at all the areas of our lives that need revamping or a makeover. The series has been great, but the really cool part is that we have had awesome momentum. God has been bringing new people out and they have been sticking around! Praise God! All of us feel it. On Sundays we are like, "Do you feel that? It feels awesome in here!" God's presence is at the OTC on Sunday nights and we are all feeling it! Different people are finding their gifts and using them, and people are stepping up, and we are seeing more people take ownership in the OTC. It has shifted from, "You have a great place here." to, "We have a great place here." It feels like it has actually begun…God is moving in such a way that we can't help but feel Him. The series has been great, but the really cool part is that we have had awesome momentum. God has been bringing new people out and they have been sticking around! Praise God! All of us feel it. SUPERBOWL

It was an awesome time of fellowship and community!
We had good food…Jon made GREAT Chicago deep dish!
It was just an incredible event…Thank You God for blessing this wonderful time! The first person arrived at noon and the last person left at 11:45pm…It was a good time. :)
THE OTC BABY! Vision: To Love People, See them Transformed, and Help them Change the World. We are rolling! Your prayers are being answered and we see God’s mission being accomplished in Brentwood…soon LA, and next the World.
YESHUA THE ME-SHIAH!
Two staff members from The Jews for Jesus visited the OTC in January and really liked it! They are excited to partner with us, and we have a plan to get a table together at UCLA to reach out to the students (UCLA is one mile from OTC). They said that they are planning to recommend OTC to Jewish students who come to their ministry that are looking for a church/synagogue to get plugged into. AWESOME!!! We have had great response from the Jewish people who attend the OTC and we are encouraged by how God is using us even though we are not Jewish. In fact, we had our first Jewish person raise their had in response to the gospel. Praise God!!! She is just starting on her journey, but we are excited that she is seeking Yeshua as her Me-shiah.
SEEING THE DIVINE IN 09! This year is starting out PERFECT!!! God is setting the bar high, and we believe He is just getting started. God has a presence in BRENTWOOD!!!! We have come to influence the influencers!!! Let God open the floodgates of people coming to Him in 2009!!!
SUPPORT UPDATE PRAY - BELIEVE 2009
We did not get that house to rent that would save us $1300 a month, but God got us thinking about lowering our overhead. The bad economy has finally caught up to Brentwood and rent Is slowly dropping. PRAY God allows us to get Into a place that will increase our effectiveness for the kingdom, and lower our rent. We want to steward all of your support and God's resources wisely. PRAY God gets the OTC self sufficient by the end of 2009! PRAY for my Family too. That God would use the kids in the lives of their friends and at their school. That Lisa will be a light to the parents and in this community! In 2009 PRAY that God lowers our monthly bills and ups our support. In January 09 our support was $2400. That is better, but still not enough cover our overhead. PRAY God blesses those who support us faithfully in Prayer and Financially, and that He in turn will bless us too! God can do both those things and far more!!!
Money has kept ministers and churches out of this area for years, but we refuse to let it stand in the way of the gospel. PRAY God provides for us.
