In opening, first and foremost, I would like to acknowledge all of you and your families that
have been affected by the storm. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
On a more upbeat note, summer on our island was great! Families were relaxing at the beach
and having so much fun biking, golfing,
shopping, going out to eat, playing tennis,
pickle ball, kayaking, fishing and more.
I guess that is why Hilton Head Island was
recognized for the 3rd year in a row by Travel
& Leisure Magazine as the #1 island in the
continental United States…Wow!
If you haven’t been here since our most
recent beach re-nourishment, you would be so
impressed. Our sand dunes and sea oats are
looking fantastic and turtle season was a big
success. Every time I’m on the beach, either
for relaxation, showing or listing property, I am
wowed by how truly beautiful it is.
Onto business news…real estate has been
having a record-breaking sales year and so
have I. Thanks to your continued confidence
you have placed in me and all your referrals
you keep sending my way.
Hot off the press! Our oldest son “Clay” is
now working alongside me! Born and raised here, Clay absolutely loves Hilton Head Island. He
has been around the business all his life. From getting a grape soda at my office when a little
boy to endless real estate discussions at the family dinner table. A graduate of Clemson
University where he studied marketing and finance, Clay is so excited about his new career
opportunity and so am I. Please welcome him to “The Ken Oliver Team”. He will be calling you
soon to introduce himself to you.

Fall Family News!Lauren (29) finished her summer contract with NOLS in The Yukon. She drove 78 hours by herself back to Ontario and immediately started a new outdoor education job with Alive Outdoors working in parks north of Toronto. Her next adventure? Your guess is as good as mine!
Heather (26) continues to enjoy her life and friendships in Charleston. Her pediatric medical surgery nurse position at MUSC keeps her very busy and challenged. Heather is considering being a travel nurse so she can see more of the USA.Clay (24) is very much a full-time agent with Dunes Real Estate and joins me as part of The Ken Oliver Team. It’s an honor to have him work with me and learn this exciting/challeng-ing business. His passion for the island is extraordinary as is his professional attitude. Craig (20) is now a true sophomore at Clemson and thrilled to be there. It’s a great time “to be a Tiger” and he plans to attend every football game. He lives in the brand new Douthit residence and is happy with his roommates. Craig is in the process of pledging a fraternity and hopes to make many close friends through this experience.
