Competency Based Medical / Health Professional Educaon: Providing Effecve Feedback to Enhance Learning Registraon Fees SMC CME / CNE / CPE accreditation are being finalised Course Descripon The ability to provide and receive feedback is important in the current learning context to improve the educational setting as well as to monitor the progress of trainees and trainers. If done properly, feedback will have a transformative effect on the person as well as the practice environment. It is therefore imperative that one is trained in giving both positive and negative feedback skillfully. The workshop will focus on feedback techniques and discuss on how to develop good practices as well as identify bad practices. Training will be in small groups and will focus on current learning environments of undergraduate and postgraduate settings.. After this workshop participants will be able to: apply the educational principles learnt into practice while providing feedback evaluate effectiveness of providing feedback in various educational teaching learning settings facilitate effective feedback practices in their work environments Cancellations received on or before 28 Feb 2020: Full refund (less off $50 admin fee). Cancellations received between 29 Feb - 29 Mar 2020: Refund of 50% of the workshop fee. Cancellations received between 30 Mar to 28 Apr 2020: No refund. Any cancellation or replacement must be conveyed in writing to the organiser. Registration can be only confirmed upon full payment. CenMED reserves the rights to change the date / timing / location etc. Note for NUS Staff: This program is accredited with 1 elective hour by Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL), NUS.
