DAY 1

DAY 2
GOLF TODAY
After breakfast we head to the Royal County Down Golf Club for our first game of golf. Royal County Down is located right next door to the Slieve Donard Hotel in one of the world’s most naturally beautiful links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne, the links stretches along the shores of Dundrum Bay, zigzagging back and forth to provide a different vista from virtually every hole. The narrowest ribbons of fairways thread their way through as impressive a set of sand dunes as could be imagined. The fairways are surrounded by purple heather and golden gorse, so beautiful to look at but so punishing for any who may stray from the prescribed path. Our Tee Time has been confirmed at 10.18 am. After golf the remainder of the evening is free to unwind. Why not relax in their world class spa or have a massage and get rid of any tension, aches and pains.

DAY 3
CHECK OUT
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to Ardglass Golf Club. The journey time here is about 36 minutes.

Ardglass Golf Club is a stunning 18-hole links course in a natural setting hugging the north-east coast of Ireland, with stunning views and a unique layout. Ardglass is also the home of the oldest clubhouse dating back to 1450. Tee times to be confirmed. After golf and something to eat we head to Dublin, approximately 2 hours drive, and check in to the Alex Hotel in Merrion Square. The Alex Hotel is in the heart of Dublin city centre and located just a 5-minute walk from St. Stephen's Green and Trinity College. They boast the most comfortable bed and most stylish bed you will ever sleep in. This evening you are free to check out the local pubs.

DAY 4
GOLF-FREE DAY
This is a golf free day. We have included a city sightseeing tour of Dublin so you can get your bearings of the city. In the afternoon you get free time to explore this great city. Perhaps you’d like to try the ‘black stuff’ at St. James’ Gate Brewery and the Guinness Storehouse. Another attraction is Dublin’s Kilmainham Gaol, a sobering reminder of Ireland’s fight for independence. Built in 1787, the damp cells of this former jailhouse held many prominent Irish nationalists before the gaol was closed down in 1924. Today visitors can tour the eerie building and explore its storied past through a number of onsite exhibits. The other option is to visit the famous Trinity College and world’s oldest book. The Book of Kells is an illustrated manuscript in Latin containing all four Gospels of the New Testament.

This evening we have included Dress Circle tickets to River Dance. River Dance is a theatrical show consisting mainly of traditional music and dance. It originated as an interval performance during the 1994 Eurovision song contest, featuring Irish dancing champions Jean Butler and Michael Flatley. It was then expanded to a stage show which has visited over 450 venues worldwide.

DAY 5
CROSS-COUNTRY TO KILLARNEY
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head cross county to Killarney. We have included an extra special stop at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The distance between Dublin and Bunratty Castle is approximately 2 hours and 19 mins or 219 kms . Bunratty Castle gives you a chance to experience a window into Ireland’s past and explore the acclaimed 15th century Bunratty Castle and the 19th century Bunratty Folk Park.
After lunch we continue on to Killarney. The travel time here is 1 hour 41 mins or 127 kms. We check into the Great Southern Hotel.

KILLARNEY’S PREMIER HISTORIC HOTEL Spectacular architecture melded with effortless service and genuine hospitality has made Great Southern Killarney an iconic retreat for over 160 years. Originally opened in 1854, the hotel was called The Great Southern Hotel for over 100 years then changed to The Malton Killarney in 2007 before returning to Great Southern Killarney once again in 2018. Great Southern Killarney stands proudly as Killarney’s premier historic hotel in Killarney town centre. After check in you have time to unwind and get ready and this evening we have included a transfer to Kilorgen town to experience The Puck Fair. The Puck Fair is one of Ireland's oldest and longest celebrated festivals and is held without fail on 10th, 11th and 12th August every year with 12 hours of free family street entertainment.

DAY 6
GOLF TODAY
After breakfast we play at Tralee Golf Club. This is approximately 45 minutes from Killarney On the rugged south west Atlantic coastline lies the sensational Arnold Palmer-designed Tralee Golf Course. This course offers a unique combination of traditional seaside golf links and world famous scenery.

Tralee Golf Club has links features towering dunes, undulating fairways, punishing rough and cliff top tees and greens. Tee times to be confirmed. After golf you will be transferred back to your hotel when you get a chance to explore Killarney. Our recommendation here is Bricín (translated means ‘small trout’). This is a lovely little restaurant serving great food with plenty of character.

DAY 7
GOLF TODAY.
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head to Ballybunion Golf Club. This is about 50 minutes drive or 65 kms. Ballybunion is located by the Atlantic Ocean, and is one of the best courses in Ireland. Please note there are no motorised carts allowed on this course and we recommend you take a caddy for the day. Tee times to be confirmed. After conquering this difficult course and lunch we head to the Historic town of Kinsale.

The picturesque yachting harbour of Kinsale (Cionn tSáile) is one of many colourful gems strung along the coastline of County Cork. Narrow winding streets, great restaurants and art galleries.
In the afternoon we check into the Trident Hotel that is spectacularly located at the water’s edge and offers tastefully decorated rooms and stunning views of the harbour. This evening you have free time to explore this quirky little town – why not try the Spaniard Inn- this is a cool little pub with plenty of atmosphere. Or take a walk to Charles Fort and discover this historic site a must do before you leave Kinsale.

DAY 8 GOLF TODAY After breakfast we play the old Head of Kinsale Golf Club. The Old Head of Kinsale in County Cork is one of Ireland’s most spectacular coastal areas. This large promontory juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, rising hundreds of feet above the water with towering sea cliffs. On this stretch of coastal bliss it feels like you’ve left the world behind. It’s just you on this ruggedly beautiful golf course overlooking the Celtic Sea. Tee Times to be confirmed.
After golf we have free time to relax and this evening here we would recommend Finn’s Table. This is a cosy and atmospheric restaurant serving great food.

DAY 9 GOLF TODAY After breakfast we say goodbye to Kinsale and continue on to Cork. Here we play at Cork Golf Club and this, for me is a highlight as many years ago my father was the Captain of Cork Golf Club. This premium member’s club is located in Little Island, close to Cork City. This championship course winds through exceptional golfing terrain incorporating old limestone quarries and the inner reaches of Cork Harbour. In the afternoon we head to the world-renowned Ballymaloe House Hotel for our final night and farewell dinner. Ballymaloe prides itself on only sourcing local product and home-grown food from their walled garden and farm. Their chefs draw up a lunch and dinner menu daily depending on what comes up from the garden. This food is amazing and I believe we have saved the best till last.

Myrtle and Ivan Allen opened Ballymaloe House, their home, to the public as a restaurant in 1964 and later as a Hotel. This historic Irish country house is located in beautiful East Cork (southern Ireland) and is still managed by the Allen family and continues to be celebrated internationally as the home of Irish country cuisine and warm hospitality.

The final payment will be for the full tour price in EUR converted to AUD based on the best EUR sell rate from the Major 4 banks as at 10am on 07 Apr 2019. The deposits paid will then be deducted from this to give the balance owing.
