Performance NotesLiturgically, Psalm 91 is the responsorial psalm for the First Sunday in Lent (Year C) and acommon psalm for the Lenten season. In the Liturgy of the Hours, it is sung each week as thepsalm for Sunday Compline.

2. The snare of the fowler will never capture youand famine will bring you no fear:under God’s wings your refuge,and faithfulness your shield.
