Continue on this road for 2 miles until reaching Willoughby Waterleys and take the first turning right onto Gilmorton Lane. Meadowlands Game Farm can be found after 200m along this lane. SALE NOTES
The sale is on the instructions of Dean and Tina Preson t/a Meadowlands Game Farm, who are retiring from pheasant rearing and farming.
Dean began hatching and rearing pheasants 30 years ago as a hobby with all the birds going to a local shoot as day old chicks. In recent years Dean and Tina have been hatching and rearing approx. 100,000 to 120,000 birds a year and selling them to shoots at 7-week-old Poults. The excellent range of hatching and incubating equipment enables them to hatch 24,000 birds a week.
All the rearing equipment is meticulously washed and disinfected after every season and stored under cover. A lot of the equipment will be of interest to small and large farmers keeping poultry. Pre-sale enquiries can be made by contacting Dean Preson on 07971 920543.
