How to Register a Child in ACSD Family Connection:
1. On the ACSD Family Connection Homepage log in using your Login ID/Email and Password.
2. On the Family Connection Welcome Page, review the Student Enrollment Checklist and Residency Guidelines, have your documents
ready for upload, then select “Register New Student” to begin entering information.
3. Enter Student Information. There are seven (7) sections of information to complete. You may “Save” at any time during the process.
4. Enter Additional Student Information. You may “Save” at any time during the process.

After you have entered all Student Information, select “Next” to continue to the Student Race and Ethnicity section.
5. Enter Student Race and Ethnicity information. You may “Save” at any time during the process. Select “Next” to continue to the
Residency Questionnaire.
6. Enter Residency information. You may “Save” at any time during the process. Select “Next” to continue to the
Proofs of Residency & Health and Immunization Uploads section.
7. Upload Proofs of Residency & Health and Immunization Records. Document names will show next to the “Upload” button. Select “Next”
to continue to the Parent/Guardian and Contacts section.
If uploading from a computer:
Select the upload button then locate the file you would like to upload. If the document has already been saved to your computer, the document will be in a folder on your desktop. Once the document has been located, select it and choose open. This will upload the document.
If uploading document from your phone:
Select the upload button in the application and choose the location where your document is saved. You can choose a document already saved or choose to take a picture of the document. Once you locate it, select the document and it will upload.
PreK/Kindergarten Parent

8. Enter Parents/Guardians and Contacts information. You may “Save” at any time during the process. Select “Next” to continue to the
Home Language Questionnaire section.
9. Enter Home Language information. You may “Save” at any time during the process. Select “Submit Form” to complete the registration
process.

10. Select “Submit Form” to complete online registration. If you do not submit, the registration will not be sent to Amherst Central Schools. Upon receipt
of all documentation, ACSD will contact you regarding your child’s registration.
