2. Risk Management
Effective risk management principles and processes are employed to
enhance decision making and assist in reducing risk to people, the
environment and assets.
A risk management process is applied to identify, prioritize,appropriately prevent, minimize, mitigate, communicate and manage
risks throughout a project or asset life cycle.

incorporating health, safety and environmental considerations into
engineering design and planning.

8. Field Execution
Field work is executed using effective methods that prevent injury,
illness and incidents.
Work teams are familiar with their worksites, responsibilities and
activities, and the associated risks. Effective risk control measures aredeveloped and maintained.
Plant and equipment is maintained and operated to an appropriate
standard to minimize risk during operation.

managed to an acceptable level.
Changes to design, construction, commissioning, operations,processes, procedures, equipment, systems, services and personnel
are assessed and approved by stakeholders.

- Whilst management of change (MoC) processes have always beenavailable to apply to projects, such as for cost and schedule changes,the scope of MoC application now extends to all business and other activities which may have an HSE impact, for example significantorganisational change.
