ALL THE PEOPLE WHAT YOU NEED: A variety of Little People® figures WHAT YOU DO: BEFORE THE ACTIVITY: Gather the Little People figures. DURING THE ACTIVITY: Sit with the children and have them sort the figures by the color of their hair. Mix them up and repeat as desired. AFTER THE ACTIVITY: Talk about how we are all made in God’s image. WHAT YOU SAY: BEFORE THE ACTIVITY: “Hello, friends! Come sit with me. Look at all these people. (Pause.) I see lots of different people.” DURING THE ACTIVITY: “Can you find all the people with red hair? (Pause.) Great! Put them in a pile. (Pause.) Find all the people with brown hair and put them in a pile. (Pause.) What about yellow hair? Find all of them and put them in a pile. (Pause.) Super job! Do we have any people that aren’t in a pile? (Pause.) What color hair do they have? (Pause.) Let’s put them in their own piles. (Pause.) Great job, friends.” (Mix up and repeat as desired.) AFTER THE ACTIVITY: “Today, we’ll hear a story from the Bible that tells us that you and you and you and me (point to each child then yourself) are all made in God’s image.” TRANSITION: Move to Bible story time by asking children with a certain color hair to line up or travel to the area. Continue until all the children have lined up/traveled.

3. WIGGLE[ L I V E F O R G O D | A P P L I C AT I O N A C T I V I T Y ]W H AT Y O U N E E D : No supplies needed.

W H AT Y O U D O : B E F O R E T H E A C T I V I T Y: Have the children stand in front of you.

D U R I N G T H E A C T I V I T Y: Call out a body part and tell the children that God made it. Ask the children to hold up that body part and wiggle it. Body parts are fingers, legs, head, tongue, shoulders, and feet. Repeat several times.

W H AT Y O U S AY: B E F O R E T H E A C T I V I T Y: “God made all of us!”

D U R I N G T H E A C T I V I T Y: “I am going to call out something that God made, and you hold it up and WIGGLE it! Are you ready? (Pause.) God made our FINGERS! Everyone, hold up your fingers and WIGGLE them! (Pause.) Great job! God made our LEGS! Let’s WIGGLE our legs!” (Continue and finish the activity.)

W H AT Y O U D O : B E F O R E T H E A C T I V I T Y: Copy “Camera” onto cardstock and cut out. Cut out small circle on each camera.

D U R I N G T H E A C T I V I T Y: Encourage children to decorate their cameras then pretend to take pictures of people in the room.

A F T E R T H E A C T I V I T Y: Talk about how God made each and every one of us.

W H AT Y O U S AY: B E F O R E T H E A C T I V I T Y: “Look around the room. Do you see all your friends in the class? (Pause.) Yes! Who made all those people? (Pause.) God did. God made each of us special!”

D U R I N G T H E A C T I V I T Y: “What do you think this is? (Hold up one of the camera cutouts.) It’s a camera! This camera says, ‘God made me! ’ Use the markers/crayons to decorate your camera. (Pause.) These look amazing. Hold your camera up to your face and pretend to take a picture. (Demonstrate.) Click. Pretend to take a picture of all the people in the room. Click. Click. Click. Now, turn it around and take a selfie. (Demonstrate.) Click. God made you and all the people in this room. God made everyone all over the world.”

A F T E R T H E A C T I V I T Y: “In today’s Bible story, we learned that God is the maker of ALL people. God made everyone to be like Him! But, no two people are the same. Some people are girls and some are boys. Some have red hair and some have black, blond, or brown hair. God made us all in the most wonderful way! God made us to learn, create, and help. God is amazing, and He made us to be like Him! Who made you? God made me .”
