    Hello my dear students! In this lesson, we will learn more about the Electromagnetic Induction. This

    activity is related to what we have done in our IW 2F last week. Get ready to engage yourself in the world of

    Electromagnetism. For your task, here are the following instructions:

    A. EM Induction

    1. Visit the website www.cicmandaue.weebly.com 2. Click on “Go to E-Classroom”. You will be directed into a new tab. Next, click on your Grade Level,

    “Grade 10”. 3. Access the PowerPoint file entitled “Electromagnetic Induction” in the Class Notes Section. Click the

    file to download it. 4. Study the lesson about EM Induction, read and follow the instructions in the PowerPoint. 5. Answer “This is your Seatwork” Activity. The activity is a 3 – item problem solving. Show your solutions

    in a 1 whole sheet of paper. 6. Submit your outputs in either of the following modes:

    a. Hard Copy: Place your output in a short envelope. Don’t forget to write your complete name, year and section, and your Homeroom Adviser on your envelope.

    b. Soft Copy: Submit all your outputs in my gmail account, [email protected] Write your complete name and year level in your message, and attach 3 pictures for your solution to the problem (1 per problem) in your email.

    B. IW 2F Outputs!

    Remember your IW 2F outputs that we did in our last encounter? Submit the Hard Copy of your IW 2F

    (EM Induction) outputs. Place them in the envelope. You may also submit it online using the gmail account

    mentioned above.

    In a coordinate plane, each point corresponds to exactly one ordered pair of numbers. If you are given

    two points on the coordinate plane, how do you get the distance between the two points? What about the

    point that is midway the segment joining the points? Read pages 337 - 348 and do the task below.

    Construct a coordinate plane and plot one of the following set of points and determine the midpoint

    and distance between these points.

    1. (0, 0) and (3,4) 2. (3,7) and (-5,1) 3. (-6, -8) and (1, 16)

    2F (Mini Performance Task – Individual) You have learned the concepts of circles when you were in elementary. What is the importance of learning the concepts about circles? To find out more about the applications of circles do any of the following activities: Watch/read the given materials below. Then, make an EDITORIAL CARTOON (on a short bond paper) that generalizes the applications of circles in real life based on the three materials below. Provide a brief explanation.

    1) Taken 2 (Loci, Constructions and Bad Maths in Taken 2) - Watch how useful the concepts of circles could be in that situation. You may also take note of the mathematical errors presented in the movie.

    GAWAING KARD

    Basahin sa Ikalawang Batayang Aklat ang Kabanata 18-21 ng El Filibusterismo sa pahina 647-696 (Ang

    Kadayaan, Paglisan, Ang Nagpapasiya, Mga Ayos ng Maynila). Alamin ang mga iba’t ibang isyu na lumulutang

    sa bawat kabanata.

    Pagkaraan, sagutin ang mga sumusunod na katanungan.

    1. Sa kabanatang Ang Kadayaan, ano kayang isyu o pangyayari sa lipunan ang nabahiran ng pandaraya

    na maaaring maiugnay sa kasalukuyan? Gawin ito sa pamamagitan ng T-tsart.

    2. Ano-anong pangyayari sa kabanata ang nagpapakita ng pagsasawalang-bahala sa katapatan? Pumili

    ng isa at bigyan ito ng sariling reaksyon sa pamamagitan ng 5-7 pangungusap.

    3. Igawa ng Venn Diagram ang tungkol sa pagtatalaga sa tungkulin ng kawani ng pamahalaan noon at

    sa kasalukuyan. Magbigay ng sariling repleksyon sa loob ng 3 pangungusap lamang.

    Magsaliksik tungkol sa bahagi ng LIHAM PANGANGALAKAL. Pag-aralan ang mga bahagi at pagkatapos ay gawin

    ang nasa ibaba.

    Read your book pages 202 – 210 and learn about an ordinary man being rewarded by the Blessed

    Virgin Mary because of his simple offering of his talents. Then, do the activity below:

    • Explain how the quotation applies in the selection, “Our Lady’s Juggler. “Blessed are the pure in

    heart, for they shall see God”. Then answer page 210, Exercise 6 nos. 1 – 6 of your book. In

    addition, make this as no. 7, have at least one bible passage that best sums-up the story, and

    explain in 2-3 sentences.

    There are two other concepts of grammar which are indispensable to clear grammatically correct and effective sentences and this is the use of modifiers and parallelism of words accurately. Descriptions and modifiers enrich dull sentences, through the use of modifiers; you give more information about the subject or verb of a sentence. Research and read more about Dangling Modifiers and Faulty Parallelism, then do the activity:

    • Reconstruct the erroneous sentences below by avoiding the use of misplaced and dangling

    modifiers. Then, explain how did you correct each error in the sentence.

    1. The dealer sold the Cadillac to the buyer with leather seats.

    2. Having been fixed the night before, Precy could use the car.

    3. The newly married couple saw a fence behind the house made of barbed wire.
