WHY ONLINE COURSE PORTAL FOR CAMPUS?

The aim of the application is to create a

Courses Portal for a Campus / Organization.

Providing an online solution to students and

faculty for selecting a particular course.

EXISTING SYSTEM

The system is fully manual which involves

communication between the student or

faculty & the courses.

The system picks up the faculty manually.

This is a time consuming process for student.

The student has to go to each area or

location and search for a particular course

and then he can select for a particular

course.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The application allows registered users of the system

to join a course available in the site & access the

materials published for the course. People can

register themselves as students of a course or

Faculty for a course. When a person registers himself

as a Faculty, an approval mechanism should be

triggered which sends an email to the Administrator

for approving the person as a Faculty. There will be

an admin approval page where admin can approve

the faculty members for the course.

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM

Time Consumption is avoided.

Proper Materials are provided in different

domains so that user will download the

corresponding materials form this website.

Student will pay money through credit card

system.

Salaries for the faculty will be pay through

online by the admin of the website.

ADMINISTRATOR

Administrator will create the course, by providing the

course title & description. Students will see the courses

then they will apply for the course.

Administrator will Approve Faculty members for a

Course. He can approve the entire faculty applied for

the job.

He can reject / accept a particular faculty.

So that approved faculty will work for this website as a

faculty and they will teach the students in the

worldwide.

Administrator will delete the courses when needed.

FACULTY(COURSE)

Faculty will see this website & if he is interested for doing

as faculty he will apply for the job for particular course, If

applicant got selected for the faculty then he/she will

upload the materials according to him/her subject.

The student will see these uploaded materials and they

will download the materials.

If applicant not selected he can’t upload the materials.

Faculty will see all the questions posted by different

students.

Faculty will prepare solutions for the questions and post to

students. Faculty will see the all the students Attendance

STUDENT (COURSE)

Student will see this website, if he/she interested then he/she will

register in the website with the credit card number. So that student

get own credentials to login into this website.

After login student will apply for any courses.

All courses are shown in the website so that student will select any

one or more from that and he/she will apply for that particular course.

Student will download the materials according the student subject &

will give the comments on the website, faculty and student also

suggest the website administrator for quality education.

If student has any doubt he/she will post a question to the faculty.

This questions will be seen by the faculty and post the answers to the

students.
