ONLINE INCOMETAX RETURN FILING SYSTEM

21. PROJECT DETAIL
A personal or individual income tax is levied as a percentage of a person’s wages and salaries, with some deductions permitted, along with the net income or loss from businesses and investments. It is typically collected on a pay-as-you-earn basis, with correction at the end of the year for over payments and under payments. This application is created to fulfil this reqirement based on current ITR-I and schema.
This return form is to be used by an individual whose total income for the assessment year 2014-2015 includes income from salary/pension or who is carrying out a proprietary business or profession.
This online income tax return filing system would be beneficial and easy to use then typically paper based tax return filing system.
32. INTRODUCTION
Electronic data processing system for preparation of electronically filled tax returns and authorization and payment of refunds based on the data supplied in those returns. Electronic data processing programs are provided for creating an electronic tax return that is filled with a tax collecting authority.
As early as the day after completion of the tax return, the tax filler receives initial refund payment from the account. The authorized credit institution electronically files the electronic tax return with the tax collecting authority which processes the return and transfers by electronic fund transfer the refund amount to the user’s account at the authorized credit institution.
Any refund in excess of the initial refund payment is then forwarded to the tax filer. Provision is also made for checking the credit worthiness of the tax filer.
43. Requirement analysis
A standalone application or form application to collect data and store locally.
The client application can be ported to any other machine and should run fine.
The stored data should be platform independent to be sent to a central repository.
When connected to network, the client app should authenticate into a central repository using a web service and submit all collected information.
The centeral repository should be independent so it is able to collect application data from various application similar to yours in a platform independent way.
The information uploaded by any user that data and time duration should be stored.
The central repository should be able to handle multiple such requests from multiple users.
3.1 Functional Requirement
5 The data stored in database later should be able to be shared to different other sources
in a platform independent way. The information shared should also be customized according to the receiver.
The data stored should be in a format which can be easily queried upon and can be used for reporting as well.
The application should produce at least 4 different kinds of reports from the data collected in the database.
These 4 report should have different level of target audience within the organization.
For e.g. :-
1. Chief information officer
2. Audit specialist
3. Report specialist
4. General audience
63.2 Nonfunctional Requirements
Security :
Data like personal details of tax filer and admin, login id & password. Must be remain confidential. To keep those data safe, there is a need of highly secured algorithm.
Availability :
The website should be available for 24 hours a day. Whatever the traffic is but the availability of website should not be affected.
Performance :
It should be high enough that the user should not wait enough for their any request.
User satisfaction :
Whatever information provided should satisfy the user. User satisfaction is the main concern of our website.
Backup :
To maintain all records backup system should be there.

126. Conclusion
Our System Provides easy and user friendly application to tax filer through which he can file income tax return and see the details easily, anytime and anywhere (Internet is required). User take detail through this system and submits all his detail to branch through internet. They have not to go all time to main branch. So it makes user’s work easy. It reduces all paper work. It provides more reliability to organization work. Our System also provides easy interaction between admin and user. This is an efficient system by which anyone can file his income tax return easily.
