HISTORYTHE PORTREVOLUTIONA subsidiary of the Grimaldi Group, PTML commenced operations in 2008, as the first new port development in Nigeria.Doubling the Ro/Ro capacity of the port, the opening of PTML was a decisive factor in eliminating port congestion and improving efficiency in Lagos port.

The Port Terminal With our own independent Customs Command and separate access Gate, our Terminal is uniquely positioned to offer the fastest cargo delivery time and the easiest access to the port area.As the sole terminal in Lagos, called by Grimaldi Lines, PTML is serving all major North-South connections, with weekly services from Europe, United States and South America, providing ad-hoc logistics solutions for importers and exporters of Containerized, Ro/Ro and general cargo.With regular Ro/Ro and general cargo services from Far East, PTML is the ideal gateway to Nigeria.Over the years PTML has further expanded its capacity, growing beyond the port limits over a dedicated water-front, off-dock facility where cargo is transferred seamlessly through a regular barge service. Today, with a combined port area of 35 hectares, we’re the largest multipurpose Ro/Ro terminal in West Africa.

Mile2 Off-DockTerminal Located 4 nautical miles from Tin Can Island, MIle-2 Off-Dock Terminal, is the natural extension of PTML beyond the limit of the port boundaries.The terminal has been developed over an area of 15 hectares (37 acres) and is served by environmentally friendly barges, which are transferring the cargo from the PTML port area to this Off-Dock facility. With the presence of Customs and all other governmental authorities, the importers can process all cargo clearance formalities directly on site, avoiding the congested port area.

RO/RO Expertise PTML handles a wide variety of vehicles from cars to heavy duty equipment including tractors, bulldozers and excavators. Our dedicated deep water Ro/Ro berths and wide aprons make PTML ideal for Ro/Ro vessels to load and discharge cargoes.
