    How to complete your Job Seeker Snapshot and Job Plan online.

    Job Seeker Snapshot The Job Seeker Snapshot is a short series of questions that help us get to know you better. It lets us

    know what kind of support we should give you so you have the best chance of getting a job.

    How to complete your Job Seeker Snapshot online

    Step 1 Click Sign in / Register and select Job seeker.

    Then click Sign in to myGov on the pop up and complete the myGov sign in process to go to your

    dashboard.

    Step 2

    You will get a message welcoming you to Online Employment Services. For more information watch

    the video.

    Click Next to go to the next screen.

    Step 3

    Read about the online services available to you. Then click Next.

    Step 4

    Read what you need to do to continue. Then click Let’s do this.

    Step 5

    You will be taken to the Welcome to your Job Seeker Snapshot page.

    Read the information on the page. Also read the privacy and conditions notice to make sure you

    understand how your information is being collected and used by us.

    Once you have read and understood the information, tick the box to consent to your information

    being collected and then click Start.

    You will then be guided through the different sections of the Job Seeker Snapshot:

    • Work and education

    • Work capacity

    • Descent and origins

    • Circumstances

    • Personal factors

    At the end of each section, click Save and Next to proceed to the next section.

    Questions marked with red asterisks are compulsory questions.

    Step 6

    Once you have completed your Personal Factors section, click Save and Finish to submit your Job

    Seeker Snapshot.

    Step 7

    Once you have submitted your Job Seeker Snapshot, you will get a short questionnaire. The short

    questions will help us deliver better services to you.

    You can then click Save and continue to close the Job Seeker Snapshot section.

    Job Plan After completing your Job Seeker Snapshot, you will be presented with another message about your

    Job Plan. IMPORTANT: You need a Job Plan to keep getting your Centrelink payment.

    Step 1

    Read the requirements about reviewing and agreeing to your Job Plan. Then click Next to continue.

    Step 2

    The first section explains what a Job Plan is and why you need one. Please read this carefully and

    then click Next.

    Step 3

    The Mutual Obligations section explains what you must do to keep getting your Centrelink payment.

    IMPORTANT: Please make sure you understand what is required, then tick the box to agree that you

    have read the important information and that you agree to these mutual obligation requirements in

    your Job Plan.

    Click Next to continue.

    Step 4

    The final step of your Job Plan is to read and agree to the Declaration.

    You must tick the declaration box and click Agree to complete your Job Plan.

    Step 5

    After you have agreed to your Job Plan, you can view and download a PDF copy of it.

    Click the Agreed Job Plan (PDF) link to open it.

    If you did not fill in the short questionnaire at the end of your Job Seeker Snapshot, you may be

    asked again here to fill it in. By answering a few short questions, you will improve our services to

    you. The Save and continue button will be disabled until you complete the questionnaire.
