GIVE YOUR FEET A TREAT AND MAKE

Poodle slippers

with a fuzzy mohair detail

Make it Today!

PROJECT BY ANNA WILKINSON | SUITABLE FOR INTERMEDIATE | SHOULD TAKE A COSY WEEKEND

BECAUSE THE DOUBLE CROCHET LOOP IS WORKED ON A WS ROW, THE LOOPS WILL

BE SEEN FROM THE RIGHT SIDE!

CROCHET CoolTo do the double crochet loop (dcl) work as folls:1 Work as if to work a double crochet. When wrapping the yarn around your hook, also wrap it around your index finger at the same time to create a loop2 Keeping the yarn wrapped around your finger, draw the yarn through as normal3 Finish the stitch by bringing yarn over hook and drawing through two rem loops on hook. Remove finger from loop and move onto next stitch. 4 Once finished, tighten stitches by gently pulling loops from right side of your work

Make achey feet feel loved again by crocheting these super-cute slippers. In this project, the wool and mohair are worked together throughout to create a match made in yarny heaven. You’ll have plenty of fun learning the double crochet loop stitch too: to achieve the extra fuzzy hair, simply keep a finger threaded through the loose top yarn to form a loop. You don’t have to stop there, either! Change the colour of yarn and reposition the facial features and all kinds of animals will be able to give your feet a hug.
