! Learn to organize all your writing

! OSSLT – Worth 100 MARKS!

! State Your Opinion (Intro. Paragraph)

! Provide 3 reasons why you are right. (Body Paragraphs)

! End by re-stating your opinion (use different words) (Concluding paragraph)

! Introduce Topic (NOT YOUR OPINION)

! State Your Opinion – SELECT ONE SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT AND STICK TO IT.

! Include 3 supporting reasons along with your opinion. This is called your THESIS.

! Go to PAGE 8 in your OSSLT package (count only the front page)

! Topic Sentence (Supporting Idea)

! 2-3 supporting details

! Concluding statement

! Restate Your Thesis: Write your opinion again, using DIFFERENT WORDS!

! Watch the CLOCK! ! If you can only write 4 paragraphs that is

OK! ! Make sure you stick to your side of the
