WE WERE UNABLE TO COLLECT YOUR COMPOST TODAY! PROHIBITED MATERIALS Turn the tag over to see what is accepted in your compost cart and what isn’t! INCORRECT CONTAINER Only compost in your designated yard debris cart, paper bags or certified compostable “bio bags” will be collected. No personal containers, plastic bags, produce bags or mesh bags will be collected. INCORRECT PLACEMENT Cart should be rolled to the curb with the bar facing toward the street. Cart lid should be closed. If the lid does not close, yard waste can extend only two feet out of container. Bags should be placed close together. OVERFILLED CONTAINER Only items placed inside of the cart will be collected. The cart cannot weigh more than 175 pounds. A maximum of 10 biodegradable bags per week, weighing no more than 25 pounds total, can be set out on collection day. OOPS! MATERIALS CAN BE COLLECTED LOOSE AND FREE!
