OPaL observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2015

Vigilance Awareness Week was observed in ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) during

26th October, 2015 - 31st October, 2015. The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week this

year was “Preventing Vigilance as a Tool of Good Governance”. The week began with

administering the Pledge. Pledge to all employees of Corporate Office was administered in

English, Hindi, & Gujarati by CFO, COO, & GM (Fin) - OPaL on 26th October, 2015 at 11:30

AM and at site by Shri A K Mishra, RCM, OPaL.

To enhance the awareness on importance of Vigilance Essay & Slogan writing on “Preventive

Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance” in English, Hindi & Gujarati was organized, wherein

more than 50 entries were received. Each entry was evaluated by the duly constituted

committee of senior officers of OPaL on various parameters, viz, relevance to the theme,

originality, usefulness, comprehension, etc. Accordingly, the names of the Winners were

announced in the closing ceremony organised on 31st October, 2015 at Vadodara Office.

Further, an Interactive Session was organized for Employee(s) at Corporate Office on 31st

October, 2015 at 1500 Hrs. The session was taken by renowned Management Speaker and

educationist Dr. Mehul Thakkar, Asst. Professor, Agri-Business Management College,

Nadiad. Dr. Thakkar’s session touched up on various aspects of importance of preventive

vigilance and its role in nation building and poverty alleviation. The session was attended in

large numbers. The session was very participative with audience interacting with the

speaker and having vivid discussion on the subject matter.

Valedictory Function:

Upon observing the Vigilance Awareness Week, 2015 along with the above mentioned

activities, a Valedictory Function was organized at Corporate Office on 31st October, 2015,

the prizes were distributed to the winners of the various competitions held during the

Vigilance Awareness Week by Shri K Satyanarayana, CEO-OPaL. The function ended with the

vote of thanks to one and all who had contributed in making the observance of Vigilance

Awareness Week a grand success. Vote of thank was given by Shri K. K. Rao, DGM,(Vig.),

ONGC.

has 2X360 KTPA of LLDPE/HDPE Swing unit, 1X340 KTPA of Dedicated HDPE and 1x340 KTPA of PP. The project in in the

advance stages of commissioning and is expected to go on-stream in 2015.
