Break system description
The One Point Cut principle (OPC)

Break system description
Color ring
The Color Break Ring principle (CBR)
The CBR ampoules have a ceramic color ring on the
constriction. This ring made of ceramic enamel and organicoil is applied after forming and before annealing theampoules. The ceramic enamel has a higher mean linearcoefficient of expansion than the glass.

In the annealing oven the organic oil decomposes and theenamel is melted onto the glass surface.After cooling down, due to the higher mean linear coefficientof expansion the enamel contracts more than the glass and
as it is fixed onto the glass surface, it produces micro crackson the surface which has contact with the glass and whichweakens the glass at this position.

parameters dependent on the viscosity, the thickness of the enamelapplied and on the temperature profile of the annealing oven.As these three parameters are extremely difficult to control in technical
