Lessons learned from OPEN DAYS 2009

Quality of the event: better than ever due to reduction of number of speakers; lively debates and focused events; networking oriented events work best!

Event organisation: only slight changes as compared to previous years; reduction to not more than 100 seminars.

Recommendations: focus on key themes; continue University, develop ‘Meeting Place’; enhance online communication; maintain highly individualised media programme
