Open Educational Resources (OER)
• Open educational resources are course materials that have been funded, published, and licensed to be freely used, adapted, and distributed.
• These materials include textbooks and supporting materials, such as; PowerPoint's, exams, homework assignments, articles, lesson plans, and more.

Collecting Student Signatures
We are collecting student signatures in support of an OER committee on campus.
Once a campus has 100-150 signatures, the Student Senate should adopt a formal resolution and present it to the administration.

Collecting Student Stories
Personal student stories are the most effective way to convince faculty to switch to OER.
Because of this, LeadMN is running a competition.
We are looking for SUCCESS stories to share with other professors across the state.
We want to feature a student and a faculty member in a video enactment of the story.

Organize an Awareness Event
Generally, most people are supportive of OER. The real issue here is that many people aren’t aware of what an OER actually is.
